CRAFTKITCHEN CELEBRATES ONE YEAR

As we wrap up our anniversary festivities, we just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to our amazing community. Outsiders often see Las Vegas as a big city full of bright lights and countless commuters, but what locals know is that our town is as tightly-knit as they come. The love and support we’ve felt and received from so many all across this Valley as we worked to open our doors and feed our community will never leave us.

Opening CRAFTkitchen was something we’ve dreamed about forever, and it truly is unbelievable and humbling to know that we’ve had our doors open for an entire year now. We would not be where we are today without the help of our community and the support of the entire CRAFTkitchen family–we owe you all so much. Few things are as rewarding as watching familiar faces enjoy the food we put our heart into day after day, seeing our daughter’s paintings hanging on the walls of CRAFTkitchen, feeding local heroes like our firefighters and police, helping out our community through donations whenever we can, and–most importantly–opening our doors every morning to smiling, sometimes tired, and always hungry faces.

One of the most exciting parts of celebrating one year was throwing our anniversary party. We served some really creative and exciting food and, most importantly, were able to help support a cause that’s near and dear to us. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us, we raised over $1,000 for the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health right here in Las Vegas. That means more to us than any party or champagne toast ever will. So thank you, Las Vegas, for all that you’ve done for CRAFTkitchen and for this beautiful Valley we call home. Cheers to enjoying many more years (and countless plates) together!

HOSTING YOUR NEXT PRIVATE EVENT AT CRAFT

Since our opening, we’ve had the amazing opportunity to host a number of private events at CRAFT, and it’s one of the things we love most. It keeps us on our toes and allows us to flex our creative muscles—we really enjoy creating one-of-a-kind menus and CRAFTing up brand new dishes for each event we host. Today, then, we wanted to give you more of an idea of what hosting your private event at CRAFT entails. Read on below, and reach out to us if you have any questions at all.

Tip-to-Tail Guidance:

We're people people—it’s why we founded CRAFT in the first place. So, from the moment you contact us about your private event to the moment it’s wrapped, Chef/Owner Jaret Blinn is there to guide you along the way—helping you create the perfect menu and ambiance for your event. We’ll even create a custom CRAFTkitchen Snapchat Geofilter for your event and bring in custom florals from our friends at Flora Couture.

One of the things we’re most proud of at CRAFT is our commitment to supporting all-things local. So, when you book an event with us, you can be sure you’re supporting everyone from local farmers to florists to breweries. That big, beautiful wood table in our Private Dining Room, for example? It was hand crafted by local carpenter Alex Evans. The succulents on our tables? Hand assembled by local florist Michelle Howard. The beer you and your friends will enjoy at your event? Straight from Crafthaus and Big Dog’s Brewing. So, hosting an event at CRAFT is a great way to spread local love in our beautiful community.

CRAFTing a Custom Menu:

Working with you to CRAFT super unique menu items that your guests will love is our favorite part of any event. Straying from our everyday menu gives us a chance to work with unique produce (like dragonfruit, for example) and creative ingredients. We can even put together some really beautiful platters and charcuterie plates if that’s something you’re looking for. It all comes down to personalizing plates to reflect exactly what it is you need in a private event.

Doing Dinner:

During our regular business hours, we serve brunch, lunch and pastry-case treats. But, private events allow us to dabble in the dinner arena—and that’s something we get pretty darn excited about. We’ve had a ton of fun developing super unique, creative dinner menus for a number of private events. We’ve done everything from seared scallops to roasted micro veggies to black truffle profiteroles, and, we have to admit, we kind of love flexing our late-night-menu muscles every now and then.

Overall, private events at CRAFT are such a creative and collective effort. We truly enjoy working one-on-one with you to create the perfect event for you and your guests, and we’re honored to host it all in a space that means so much to us.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all. We can’t wait to hear from you! Let’s get this (private) party started.

CRAFT GOES PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

As National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October is a month that’s very special to our team here at CRAFT. CRAFT’s Founder and Head Chef Jaret Blinn lost his mother to her battle with cancer years ago. As a result, during his time as Red Rock Resort’s executive pastry chef, Chef Jaret created and developed “Project Pink,” a Station Casinos effort that donated proceeds from pastry sales to the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen® . The effort was so effective and well received that Station Casinos expanded Chef Jaret’s idea to several areas throughout all of its properties and brought “Project Pink” back year after year as a recurring annual effort.

Chef Jaret is now continuing the tradition he started at Red Rock over six years ago with the first-ever CRAFTgoesPINK effort. Throughout the entire month of October, our pastry case will feature house-made pink pastries, proceeds from the sales of which will be donated to the local Susan G. Komen® chapter. (We’re also encouraging guests to post pictures of their pink pastries using #CRAFTgoesPINK to help raise awareness.)

As a family of chefs, our number one focus and concern has always been on two things: family and community, and there’s no better way to honor Chef Jaret’s mother and strengthen our community than by giving back in the best way we know howthrough the power of our pastry case. We’re so excited to CRAFT up some delicious specialty pink pastries for you this month, Las Vegas, and we hope you’ll join us in our collective fight against breast cancer.

If you’d like to pre-order pink pastries, please call us at (702) 728-5828 or email info@CRAFTkitchenlv.com. You can also donate directly to the local Susan G. Komen® chapter here.
