We're so excited to announce another upcoming community happening that we're honored to be a part of—the March of Dimes' Signature Chefs Auction is set to take place on October 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Green Valley Ranch Resort. The annual event works to gather the finest culinary talent from across the Las Vegas Valley for a night of tasty treats and creative bites, all in the name of supporting the March of Dimes mission. Along with 14 other talented chefs from across the valley, CRAFTkitchen chefs and owners Jaret and Tami Blinn will be in attendance, serving up specially CRAFTed small bites for the evening.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide, and 1 million will die before their first birthday. Your support and attendance at the Signature Chefs Auction will help the organization fund research, education, advocacy and programs that ensure more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

At the Signature Chefs event, you can expect to enjoy a 90-minute tasting experience before taking your seat for the auction portion of the evening (during which dessert will be served). On behalf of CRAFTkitchen, Chefs Jaret and Tami be serving up two tasty items, which they've CRAFTed up just for this special night:

Our Hot Item: Black Truffle Stuffed Profiterole, Shaved Fresh Black Truffles

Our Cold Item: Foie Gras Torchon, Spiced Toasted Brioche, Port Poached Fig Compote, Frangelico Gelée

CRAFTkitchen Donates Food in Support of the Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation

When we founded CRAFTkitchen, one of the things we were most excited about was having the ability to provide high-quality, fresh food for community events and important causes. A local family ourselves, we’re always on the hunt for opportunities to help out families in need throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson communities. We’re so excited to announce, then, that we’ll be donating food for the The Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation and The Golden Monarch Council’s 18th Annual “Wine Tasting Extravaganza.” We could not think of a more important cause to be a part of—and we can’t wait for the event to get underway.

The Wine Tasting Extravaganza will be held at Gaudin Porsche at 215 and Rainbow on Thursday, October 12 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Nathan Adelson Hospice’s Pediatric Program as well as its Families in Need Program, both of provide help to those in need of a wide range of goods and services while receiving care from the Nathan Adelson Hospice, Southern Nevada’s largest non-profit hospice.

On average, Nathan Adelson Hospice provides help for 22 children and their families each month and has been providing patients, children and their loved ones with comprehensive end-of-life care for nearly 40 years. The Foundation’s mission is to ensure that “no individual ends the journey of life alone, afraid or in pain,” and we hope you’ll come out on October 12 in support of such an important cause.

-Smoked salmon, fresh dill blini, creme fraiche caviar
